UNIQUE SOUND PROCESSING ENGINE

Masses that are connected to springs are set into motion by exciting them with "hammers". The motion of the masses creates a constantly evolving waveform. This waveform is "scanned" in audio rates thereby creating an oscillator.

A volume envelope is created by a centering force that continuously pulls the masses back to equilibrium. Hence, if the masses are not excited the system will eventually return to equilibrium - resulting in silence. However, you can also tweak the centering forces to create never ending soundscapes.

RICH, WARM AND ORGANIC SOUNDS

The sound generation method allows for ever growing and constantly changing complex waveforms. Unlike traditional synthesizers there is no need for modulators, such as LFO's. Everything is combined within a single "oscillator".

The motion, that is created in each of the four oscillators, is complex and at the same time subtle. This results in very rich and organic sounds.

A VERY PLAYABLE AND LIVELY INSTRUMENT

The sound of a note is not only dependent on the shape of the exciter but also on the current state of the system.

Since the state of the system changes constantly, each strike of a note is sonically different in a sublte and an unpredictable way. This makes the instrument feel natural and playable.

EASY AND INTUITIVE TO USE

Shapes represent the parameters of the physical model. Draw those shapes with simple gestures and see them instantly correlate in the waveform.

The result is a direct and visual way to "shape your sound" and it makes it easy to manipulate an entire array of parameters with one swipe motion - great for expressive live performance, for example.
